The remainder of the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation (WIMD) 2011 is now available following a release by the Welsh Government.
The data is available at Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) and local authority (LA) level.
The data available includes:
- Education indicators;
- Health indicators;
- Housing indicators;
- Community safety indicators;
- Environment indicators; and
- Transport indicators.
The new figures are for the period 2008-11.
As part of this update, some of the 2008 indicators held in InfoBaseCymru have also been revised. The changes apply to the local authority and Wales values for Primary and Secondary school absence and those without qualifications.
The Welsh Government will reissue the WIMD 2011 local authority level Adult and Youth Offending indicators (Community safety) shortly and we will update our data accordingly.
For both LA and LSOA the data is available in maps and tables.
